Ann Zald

ANN ZALD (2017-18) spent 20 years as an executive in the film industry, developing expertise in leadership, project management, communications, and entrepreneurship. Most recently, she led a 25-person producing team in creating film and television marketing materials at one of Hollywood’s major agencies, and she spearheaded new initiatives to expand business offerings and the client base. Ann earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan, holds certificates in environmental sustainability and horticulture from UCLA, and earned an MFA in film producing from USC.
Project
Los Angeles strives to support people experiencing homelessness, while working to keep public spaces safe and clean. To this end, FUSE executive fellow Ann Zald helped the city’s Bureau of Sanitation and Environment streamline and enhance its operations. She also explored a plan to distribute surplus food from restaurants to those in need. Read more
