Project
New York City’s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is enhancing its organizational efficiency through the optimization of a newly designed Project Management Office (PMO). This initiative focuses on refining processes, tools, and methodologies to support long-term implementation success while identifying and implementing strategic projects to improve operational performance. By strengthening project management capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, DEP aims to enhance its operational efficiency, advance environmental justice initiatives, and deliver improved environmental services for all New Yorkers, particularly in underserved communities.
