EDGAR PADILLA is an experienced workforce, education, and economic development practitioner and consultant. He’s led workforce policy strategies for federal, state, and local government agencies and private industry consortia across 17 states, and served as an elected school district trustee in a high-growth district in Texas. He’s held leadership roles at EY, Deloitte, and Texas State Technical College and holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from Schreiner University.
Project
The City of Austin and FUSE are partnering to expand access to advanced manufacturing careers for local students. The project will strengthen coordination between schools, employers, and public agencies to build a robust workforce pipeline. FUSE Executive Fellow Edgar Padilla will design strategies to increase participation and improve career pathway systems. Ultimately, this work will support economic mobility and regional resilience.
