Project
Los Angeles County’s Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is developing strategic IT solutions to better serve its 281,000 military veterans, who face twice the rate of homelessness and suicide compared to civilians. The project will create a unified dashboard that synthesizes data from multiple government systems, allowing Veteran Services Officers to efficiently connect veterans with appropriate benefits and services. By improving data analysis capabilities and streamlining access to information, this initiative aims to help more veterans access the benefits they deserve while preventing homelessness, suicide, and incarceration.
