EDWIN MCCLENDON is a specialist in strategic advisory and capital placement engagements with deep knowledge of information technology, financial services, and commercial real estate. He has worked in international investment banking and equity and debt investments, and has held senior research and portfolio management positions at American Express, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan Chase, and William Blair & Co. Edwin was the founder of McClendon, Morrison & Partners, a boutique investment banking firm, and spent four years as a private equity and real estate consultant in Dubai. He is a graduate of Macalester College with degrees in economics and political science.
Project
Washington D.C. is creating a system to inventory and manage its portfolio of real-estate assets. FUSE executive fellow Edwin McClendon helped implement the system and use it to better monetize those assets, which in turn can increase available funds for improving community services. Read more
