    Improving options for childcare, early education, STEM, out-of-school-time, and post-secondary enrollment and affordability.

    Building new infrastructure, disaster resilience, renewable energy, green economy jobs, and plans to reduce emissions.

    Addressing issues of homelessness, housing insecurity, gentrification, and the need to preserve and build more affordable housing.

Gary Campanella

Los Angeles County – Chief Executive Office

Building Effective, Inclusive Approaches to Countywide Coordination of Equitable Services

GARY CAMPANELLA excels in transforming operational landscapes. His specialty is aligning people and operations with strategy, vision, and values. As Senior Operations Manager for Capital Group Companies, Campanella worked with nonprofit organizations across Los Angeles. He was a Mediator in the LA Superior Court system. Currently, he is the Managing Editor of a literary magazine and a partner in a hospitality management company. He is a certified Project Manager (PMP). He holds many certificates and two degrees.

Project

Los Angeles County is enhancing service coordination across departments through the Anti-Racism, Diversity, and Inclusion (ARDI) Initiative and the Prevention and Promotion Coordination and Implementation Team (PPCIT) to address housing, child welfare, and behavioral health challenges. FUSE Executive Fellow Gary Campanella will lead efforts to align resources, streamline services, and develop sustainable processes, ensuring equitable access for all residents, especially BIPOC and underserved communities. This initiative will create long-term, user-friendly coordination frameworks that empower the County to deliver inclusive, effective services for its diverse population.
