LISA MARIE GALA is a specialist in historic preservation, urban redevelopment, rural revitalization, land conservation, and cultural heritage protection. She held management positions in several Fortune 100 companies before founding the consultancy firm Land and Cities, and most recently served as vice president of community and economic development for Hope Credit Union/Enterprise Corp. Previously, she established the City of Dallas’s 11th Conservation District, “M Streets East,” and the Dallas Endowment for Endangered Properties revolving fund. Lisa Marie holds a J.D. and graduate certificate in land use from Vermont Law School, as well as an MBA and B.A. in American history from Stephens College.
Project
To revitalize its Far Eastside neighborhood, Indianapolis plans to galvanize action among civic, community, and philanthropic partners to redevelop community buildings. FUSE Executive Fellow Lisa Maria Gala helped create a redevelopment strategy and guide its implementation. Read more
