MINOLI RATNATUNGA is an economist interested in what makes cities prosper. As director of regional economics research at the Milken Institute, she led a team examining the role of innovation and human capital in regional growth. Before moving to California, Minoli worked to improve the competitiveness of greater Pittsburgh and foster social enterprise in London. Minoli holds a B.S. in philosophy and economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a M.S. in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
Project
The Los Angeles County Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services is collaborating with county, city, and community stakeholders to understand and meet the needs of a fast-growing older adult population. FUSE Executive Fellow Minoli Ratnatunga is helping ensure that an increasing demand for senior services will be met by supporting the work of this coalition and helping recruit more cities in L.A. County to join the initiative.
