PATTY MENJIVAR has over 20 years of working in sustainability. She has managed ESG goals from a strategic and execution standpoint while helping shape how it is embedded within a company’s culture, strategic plans, and operations. The ESG topics include decarbonization strategies, GHG emissions reporting, cap and trade, strategic plans, governance, stakeholder engagement, sustainable supply chain, circularity, health and safety, voluntary and regulatory disclosures, and others. Menjivar aims to use her deep experience and passion to collectively create a sustainable now and future.
Project
The City of Los Angeles recognizes the urgency of the climate crisis and collaborates with FUSE to lead transformative change by prioritizing climate resilience and environmental justice. Under mayoral guidance, FUSE Executive Fellow Patty Menjivar will conduct a comprehensive landscape analysis, engage stakeholders, and formulate an interdepartmental vision to ensure equitable energy resilience. By April 2025, Menjivar aims to establish a scalable model for energy adaptation, create department-specific directives, foster cross-departmental partnerships, and set the stage for global leadership in climate resilience.
