TRACEY VEAL is a healthcare strategist with a passion for leveraging analytics, technology, and innovative partnerships to drive transformational improvements in disease surveillance, healthcare access, and health outcomes. Tracey improved healthcare delivery and community engagement at national health plans, hospitals, and providers by aligning public and private sectors with community-based approaches. She directed large-scale healthcare projects with diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Most recently, she helped launch a collaboration between a federally qualified health center and an integrated health system to improve access for vulnerable populations. Tracey has a Ph.D. in public health administration from Capella University, an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, and a B.A. from Agnes Scott College.
Project
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is preparing to scale up one of the largest vaccine distribution efforts in history. To support this work, DPH is partnering with FUSE Executive Fellow Tracey Veal to develop a strategic plan for equitable and efficient distribution and uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine across all communities.
