WEIJIA XIE is a recognized expert with over 15 years of experience driving energy and infrastructure transition. As a former management consultant, Xie has led high-impact initiatives in strategy development, fleet electrification, and infrastructure planning at Accenture, AECOM, Boston Consulting Group, Boeing, and Didi Global. Committed to advancing sustainability and equity through clean transportation, Xie brings a track record of shaping transformative solutions. Xie holds a Master’s degree from Rice University and a Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in Chemical Engineering.
Project
The City of Phoenix is transitioning its municipal fleet to low-emission and alternative-fuel vehicles as part of its broader climate and sustainability initiatives. FUSE Executive Fellow Weijia Xie will lead the development of a strategic roadmap to guide this transition, with a focus on operational efficiency, infrastructure planning, and workforce readiness. This work will help the City meet its climate goals, reduce air pollution, and ensure city operations remain cost-effective, reliable, and responsive to the needs of all communities.
