San Francisco is one of the largest purchasers of goods and services throughout the Bay Area and conducts transactions with the private, public and social sectors totaling over $1 billion annually. As part of a major upgrade of its financial systems, the City hired Rob to help overhaul its purchasing and contracting processes. Rob’s scope of work will include integrating technology, improving and streamlining systems, more efficiently connecting projects with vendors and providing equal access to all prospective vendors regardless of size or ownership.
ROB HENNING (2015-16) most recently served as the Director of Platform Development for beEdison, a software company in the solar energy market. Prior to his role, he served as a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for NBCUniversal and as a Senior Associate and Manager in the Audit Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers. A Certified Public Accountant, Rob holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and a Master of Arts in Sustainability from Harvard University.
