Project
Los Angeles County and FUSE are partnering to develop financially sustainable strategies for managing the County’s 18 public beaches. The project will analyze policies, fees, and funding structures to improve cost recovery while expanding access, especially for historically excluded communities. FUSE Executive Fellow Atisa Sioshansi will lead policy redesign, stakeholder engagement, and intergovernmental negotiations. Ultimately, this work will enable the County to sustain high-quality beaches that remain accessible to all residents.
