DAN CORREA (2014-15) came to FUSE with an extensive background in public policy at the federal, state, and local levels. As an analyst at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, a Washington, D.C. think tank, he authored several policy reports on innovation, entrepreneurship, and broadband policy, which have been cited in publications including The Atlantic, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. Dan has also worked as a consultant at the Science and Technology Policy Institute on federal innovation and science policy issues and the Connecticut Technology Council on state entrepreneurship policies and technology-based economic development. He served in the White House as the assistant director for innovation policy at the Office of Science and Technology Policy under President Barack Obama and co-founded the Smart Cities Lab, a peer-to-peer network stitching together investments in new mobility across multiple cities into a single platform. Dan is a graduate of Yale Law School, holds an M.S. in economics from Yale University, and has a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
