Project
In collaboration with FUSE, the City of Los Angeles is embarking on a project to enhance the Investigation and Enforcement Division (IED) within the Bureau of Street Services. Focused on updating outdated fee structures, the initiative aims to address the challenge of processing a high volume of permit applications, particularly impacting underserved communities. FUSE Executive Fellow Mokyou Hyun will engage stakeholders, revise the fee schedule, and develop persuasive materials to facilitate City Council approval, ultimately promoting equitable access to a safe environment and improving the quality of life in diverse neighborhoods by April 2025.
