RICK RYBA has leveraged his finance, strategy, and business development expertise at more than a dozen startups, NGOs, and established companies across a range of sectors, including financial technology, clean energy technology, and sustainable real estate development. Most recently, Rick was a principal advisor at the Larta Institute, where he offered technology commercialization assistance to successful U.S. Department of Energy grant applicants. As part of the Clinton Climate Initiative’s team in Indonesia, he helped the municipal and regional government in Jakarta complete a retrofit of city hall and pilot the city’s first LED street lighting program. Rick has an MBA from USC and a B.A. in American studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Project
To provide affordable housing options for residents who are being priced out, Long Beach adopted a wide-ranging plan that aims to address housing deficiencies. Rick Ryba helped the city implement its plan, focusing on priorities with the broadest potential impact and identifying funding sources. Read more
