Sumin Sohn

SUMIN SOHN is a sustainability project manager passionate about fostering cross-sector collaborations to find innovative, environmentally, and economically beneficial solutions. Most recently, Sumin served as the Director of Programs and Research at the Long Duration Energy Storage Council (LDES Council). Sumin has a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a joint MBA/MPP from Harvard University.
Project
Los Angeles County is working towards creating a sustainable community for its large population, with the Environmental, Sustainability, & Resilience Committee of Infrastructure LA leading the way. FUSE Executive Fellow Sumin Sohn will manage the committee’s work, identifying funding opportunities for sustainable infrastructure projects and supporting the implementation of sustainability grants. She will collaborate with stakeholders to leverage federal and state grants, ensuring alignment with the county’s vision and priorities and contributing to the County’s long-term goal of a sustainable and equitable future.
